CNN Hologram

Did anyone see the “hologram” that CNN was using on Election Night? It really is just a super-imposed computer image. I wish they’d stop calling it a hologram!! The news stations waste so much money on the flash… how about more content? For example, is it really necessary to make a swooshing noise every time the screen graphic changes? Am I watching the news or playing a video game?

Just a little rant… what do you think?

It is not a superimposed image. It is a real hologram. Not a good one, but it is the real thing.

    I agree with your post.
I was kind of annoyed when I saw them calling this neat little trick a “hologram”. It’s not a hologram.

They even lowered the quality of the image just to make it look more like a traditional Star Wars style hologram. WTF, CNN?! If you’re going to waste money on this crap at least make it look nice.

It’s shocking that the human race doesn’t just die off from mass stupidity.
    Core examples:
Electing George “W” Bush to a 2nd term.
Falling for that busch league techno-garbage like the CNN faux hologram.

My god, how cheesy was that. Enjoyed the mysterious red circle under each “hologram” as well.
