I ran across an issue today with my Droid that was really annoying. I woke up and all the icons on my homescreens were gone! I couldn’t figure out a way to get them back. I tried a few things– eventually, I just powered down and then back on again, and that fixed it. I read up on this and it seems that a reboot might actually cause duplicate homescreen icons. Another reboot won’t fix this manifestation of the issue– you just have to manually delete the duplicate icons.
I heard that this issue is an Adroid bug. Hopefully, it’s fixed soon!
