Where are beavers in Red Dead Redemption?

I had trouble finding this, but you may have a wait a while. They are easily found outside of Mexico– in the Aurora Basin up in Tall Trees in the Northeast section of the map. There are occasionally some in other areas, but this place is the best.

Many people have been complaining that it is difficult to make money in Red Dead Redemption. It is a bit of a slow start to make money, but eventually, it becomes quite easy.

If you are playing a bad guy, you can always just shoot people and loot their bodies.

When you kill anyone, make sure you loot their bodies. It’ll only be a few bucks each time, but it adds up quickly. (you kill a lot of people!)

Do the missions. Most of the missions have a monetary reward for completion. Do the side missions too.

You can make money by being the night watchman at towns.

Shoot animals, skin them, and sell what you harvest in the town general stores.

Collect herbs from the fields. You can sell these too, although hold on to some because they are used in completion of side missions.

Be a bounty hunter. If you capture people with bounties on their heads, you make good money. You can find bounties in most towns.

Red Dead Dedemption – How do you lasso a horse?

When you lasso a horse in Red Dead Redemption, make sure that you are relatively close to it. That’s the first key. The lasso is only so long. Run within range, then hold the left trigger. That will pull up the aiming reticle and start twirling the rope above your head. Pull the right trigger once the horse is in your sights. The key– DON’T LET GO OF THE LEFT TRIGGER. That will release the horse. Hold onto the left trigger, then you’ll reel the horse in. Once you are close, mount the horse.

God of War 3 (GOW3) Tips for Beating Hades Boss

The Lord of Hades was really hard for me to beat. I must have died a dozen times taking him down. The biggest tip that I can share is evasion! For a long time, I wasn’t really effectively dodging his attacks. His attacks are extremely strong, so you can’t afford to let him hit you very much. Jumping around isn’t sufficient either.

My suggestion is to use the right stick (R3) to do rolling evasive maneuvers. Anytime you see him about to attack, roll out of the way and you should be good. Jumping just isn’t fast enough.

God of War 3 (GOW3) Hades Two Arm Puzzle

I had some serious issues getting past this puzzle. I ended up having to cheat. On the left arm side of the puzzle, there’s an elevator. Use that to get the rock from the first floor and use it to prop up the left side wheel.

God of War 3 – Place in Hades with Bombs

I got stuck in GOW3 today. It was a pretty easy solution, once I figured it out. It is that part of the game where you first float up on the burning bramble and then get on the ledge to the right. Then pull the lever and go up to the ledge on the left. You kill some guys… then I got stuck.

There are unlimited bombs, but I didn’t know what to do with them. Turns out, take a bomb, put it on the elevator, go down, then push the bomb into the burning bramble. That makes the fire even stronger and you can float higher.

Pretty neat solution, but I guess I wasn’t thinking. Took me about 10 minutes to figure out. Duhhhh.

NorTrac Tractor Reviews

Anyone out there have any experiences with NorTrac tractors? I’m intrigued because it looks like they are almost half the price of a similarly equipped John Deere or Kubota. I’ve read a couple things online that seems to suggest they are ok, as long as you can do basic repairs yourself. They seems to break down more than your big brands, but they don’t seem like total pieces of junk.

Anyone have any first hand experiences?
